Goldenbleu was born from San Francisco based designer Rene Huber's desire for something more exciting and original than mass produced designer label handbags. She set out to create accessories for herself that exuded the quality and sophistication of designer labels while also embodying a fresh design perspective. Reactions to her designs were so overwhelming with people literally stopping her on the street to inquire about her bags, at times even attempting to buy them off her shoulders. Rene soon realized her true calling and in 2004 Goldenbleu officially launched into the highly competitive and crowded handbag market. Goldenbleu quickly distinguished itself with its striking designs and luxurious leathers and continues to seduce discerning shoppers the world over.

Since the launch of the company three years ago, celebrity trendsetters such as Cameron Diaz, Rachel Bilson and Lucy Liu, to name a few, have been spotted wearing Goldenbleu's sleek hobos, clutches and totes. The ever evolving brand has grown to include chic belts, shoes and boots, coin purses as well as travel bags. Sold in over 300 boutiques and high end department stores in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
